Students may wish to take an independent study. A wide range of topics can be pursued through independent study, including all fields of study that are, or can be offered at other times as regular courses. A member of the faculty will offer you their support, supervision and will help direct your studies.

An independent study will need to be approved in advance by the Wroxton College dean and the students’ academic advisors. A student should submit to the Study Aboard Programs Office the specific topics for his or her suggested independent study at the earliest opportunity.

Past independent studies undertaken by students at Wroxton have included French literature and film, the English judiciary, the police and penal system in England, watercolor painting, poetry and creative writing.
